Customer Connect: Layer Roadshows in Indonesia
As part of customer connect program, Trouw Nutrition Indonesia conducted Layer Roadshows in 2022. The program which was held twice last year: in Medan, Sumatera on August 2022 and in Kediri, East Java on November 2022, was conducted with the objective to support the customers in current uncertain situation.
As part of customer connect program, Trouw Nutrition Indonesia conducted Layer Roadshows in 2022. The program which was held twice last year: in Medan, Sumatera on August 2022 and in Kediri, East Java on November 2022, was conducted with the objective to support the customers in current uncertain situation. Two experts from Trouw Nutrition Indonesia, Susanto - Gut Health Program Manager, and Suhartono - NutriOpt Specialist in collaboration with Prof. Budi Tangendjaja - an Indonesian nutrition expert and Ir. Suryanta a well-known poultry business consultant in Indonesia met with 60 layer farm managers & owners to answer their challenges in layer business.
During the event, we talked about the fundamental economics and means to optimise layer business. A key part of this concept was introduction to precision feeding in laying hens so as to produce feed at a more efficient cost with the support of NutriOpt. Looking at a more holistic approach, we also discussed gut health issues and solution with Selko Feed Additives, in addition we also emphasised that maintaining raw material quality and managing genetic aspects of layer hens are some of the critical factors to improve laying hen’s performance.
The roadshows were successful in showing that Trouw Nutrition is always ready and committed to support customers, farm managers and owners to improve their business. We aim to have more Layer Roadshows in 2023 covering other areas in Indonesia.
