One of the main challenges poultry farmers face is maintaining broiler health – and today, because of rising customer expectations, they are experiencing more pressure to grow larger birds within a shorter time period. Even if a broiler seems healthy, its genetic potential may be hindered by a health issue that can’t easily be detected, and any disease can immediately impact the performance of the whole flock, damaging the farm’s financial performance.
