In Indonesia, Trouw Nutrition hosted the Selko Poultry School: Breaking the Chain, Integrated Salmonella Control from Feed to Farm, welcoming 70 participants from feed millers, nutritionists, and farmers. The program featured distinguished experts, including Dr. Maarten De Gussem, who presented Why Salmonella Matters and Tackling Salmonella by Improving Gut Health: A Holistic Approach, and Prof. Budi Tangendjaja from the U.S. Grains Council Indonesia, who discussed the Salmonella Outlook in Indonesia. Internal experts also shared critical insights: Morvarid Rezvani on Feed-to-Feed Safety & Salmonella Risk Management in Poultry Production, Antoniel Franco on Salmonella Risk Management in Feed Mills and Raw Materials, and Roro Jessieca on Trouw Nutrition Indonesia’s Integrated Salmonella Solution.
Alongside the plenary sessions, the team held private discussions with key customers to address salmonella challenges and participated in ILDEX 2025, one of the region’s leading livestock exhibitions where we participated in two seminars; Improving Poutry Performance Through Water Quality - by Andras Palla, and Polyphenols: Nature's Defense Againts Oxidative Imbalance - by Kinasih Sekarlangit.
